I saw Maspes in action during the mid sixties against Australian champ Sid Patterson 1000 metre sprint in Melbourne. Nothing like it anywhere in the last 30 years. Mega awesome!! He used a chrome Cinelli Pista as did his fellow countryman super champ Sante Giardoni. Great photo!
