Take a photo of my Colnago-built Molteni-Merckx Pista frameset from Pino Morroni
And a scan of Bicycle Guide magazine's photo of Eddy Merckx's actual hour record bike
Then combine the two into one composite image... Voila.

Bicycle Guide:
"Many riders care little about the machinery they use, but as in many things, Merckx was an exception. His attention to detail bordered on fanatical. It was he who designed his hour bikes, and some special road frames with similar geometry."
Given that Eddy's hour record bike has a very specific geometry it would seem that there is compelling evidence to suggest that the frameset from Pino Morroni is not just another Colnago. I'm just sayin'...
Some of the more interesting highlights of my bike's setup...
Pino Morroni bottom bracket.
Pino Morroni 3/32" drillium track chain.
Pino Morroni drillium steerer tube treatment.
All built up, this is 14 pounds of the closest experience any mortal will ever get to riding Eddy's actual hour record bike. Rental line forms to the left, for periods of one hour...
Signed by Ernesto Colnago as well as Eddy Merckx himself
